AN UPDATE ON

BHARAT MOBILITY GLOBAL EXPO 2025

EEPC India played a pivotal role as the Coordinating Agency for Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 by facilitating industry collaboration and ensuring seamless participation from key stakeholders across the global mobility ecosystem.

Hosted by Industry associations and supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 emerged as one-of-its kind confluence covering the entire mobility ecosystem. The event was held from 17-22 January 2025 across 3 state of the art iconic venues in Delhi & NCR including Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka and India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.

Bharat mobility Global Expo 2025 was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 17 Jan 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The inaugural ceremony also saw the presence of Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries & Steel, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs & Power, Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas. During his address, Hon’ble PM highlighted that the Indian automotive industry is “ fantastic and future ready”. The inauguration of the expo was attended by more than 3000 representatives including Senior industry Leaders and representatives, exhibitors, Senior Diplomats from Overseas missions in India, Women having a role in the mobility segment and other relevant segments in the mobility sector including young engineering students.

The Concurrent show namely “The Auto Components Show 2025” was inaugurated by Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, and Shri Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State of Commerce & Industry and Electronics and Information Technology, alongside other industry leaders.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Bharat Construction Equipment Show and Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 at IEML, Greater Noida, saw the presence of Shri. Sunil Barthwal, Commerce Secretary as the Guest of Honor.

Besides playing the instrumental role as the Coordinating Agency for Bharat mobility Global Expo 2025, EEPC India played a crucial role in empowering industry events, conferences and showcases at the expo. Some of the major once are listed below:

EEPC India organized the India Cycle Show 2025

One of the concurrent events, organized with the expo and showcased bicycles, e-scooters, micromobility solutions, including electric bikes and scooters. India Cycle Show had a universal appeal and offered an engagement point for families, students and visitors, resulting in higher visitor footfalls. The India Cycle Show was supported by All India Cycle Manufacturers’ Association (AICMA)

EEPC India collaborated and provided support for the Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show (UMIS)

Held at India Expo Centre& Mart, Greater Noida. The Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show 2025 brought diverse sectors of urban mobility and infrastructure under one roof, and showcased innovations, technologies and solutions in the sustainable urban transit such as Rapid Transit Systems, Mass Rapid Transit Systems and cutting-edge equipment manufacturing, and energy- efficient mobility solutions.

EEPC India also organized the Cycle Conclave on 18 Jan 2025

Highlighted the Future of Bicycle & Light EV Manufacturing & Infrastructure in India with the theme “Pedaling Towards Green and Sustainable Mobility”. Shri Sanjeev, Joint Secretary, DPIIT was the Chief Guest at the program which also saw the presence of other eminent speakers from key segments including NITI Ayog, E & Y, IIT Delhi and Industry Representatives.

Seminar on Exports in the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector was organized by EEPC India

On 21st Jan 2025 with an objective to address the opportunities and challenges of expanding EV market globally. The session saw the presence of senior industry representatives highlighting areas including government policies and export incentives, role of technology collaborations, international joint ventures and quality standardisation, export regulations and finance opportunities etc.

EEPC India also partnered at the One Day Mega Conference on “Co-Creating the Future of Mobility in India”

Mr. Pankaj Chadha, Chairman, EEPC India addressed at the panel on “Driving Export Growth of Indian Mobility Solutions.” Mr. Aakash Shah, Vice Chairman, EEPC India, contributed as a panelist for the discussion on “Evolution of Mobility Products for the Consumers of Tomorrow,”. The One Day Mega Conference also saw the presence of senior level government representatives and industry leaders.

Publicity and Promotion Plan for Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

•A comprehensive marketing campaign was conducted for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, through Print Media, So- cial Media and On-ground Pro- motions at global events. On Ground Promotion at Major international Events included CES, Las Vegas and Autome- chanika, Dubai

•EEPC India conducted and or- ganised extensive domestic and international promotional activ- ities to ensure maximum partic- ipation from various stakehold- ers. Domestically it included 2 Press Conferences which were organized in Kolkata and Mum- bai on 18 & 19 December respec- tively.

•International promotion includ- ed promotions at 2 dedicated events including Automechika Dubai and a Road Show in Ne- pal with NADA Automobiles As- sociation of Nepal.

•EEPC organized a series of in- sightful webinars that success- fully attracted participation from Indian and foreign consul- ates, as well as companies from diverse regions, including Latin America, Africa, Europe, Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and the GCC. The webinars provided at- tendees with detailed insights about various topics, promot- ing increased international par- ticipation and fostering global connections.

•This year, registrations for the expo were facilitated through multiple channels, including the official website, a partnership with the DMRC, and integration with the District App

Envisioning the Outcomes and Impact of the Expo

•The Bharat Mobility Global Expo showcased India’s growing prowess in sustainable mobility, technology, and infrastructure development, acting as a significant catalyst for fostering investments, manufacturing, R&D, B2B and G2B collaborations.

•IN terms of Long term impact, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is poised to have a transformative impact on India’s economic and environmental landscape. The Expo will plays a pivotal role in advancing India’s position within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industry by showcasing the country’s capacity to host world-class events. The Expo reinforced India’s growing reputation as a global destination for innovative and impactful MICE event.The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 was a showcase of India’s hunger for growth and success, which will drive sustainability and decarbonization efforts. The Expo generated a high optimism for investments, and further strengthen India’s global competitiveness across the mobility ecosystem.

•The second edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 successfully established itself as a significant milestone towards the vision of Sustainable mobility and Viksit Bharat by 2047. As the 6 day event achieved multifold growth in scale and size as compared to the first edition, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo provided a well coordinated and successfully implemented joint efforts of Government and industry stakeholders to drive their commitment towards building and showcasing India’s br and vibrant mobility value chain opportunities to the global audience.

•Engineering sector being the backbone of overall mobility value chain, EEPC India as the lead coordinator, successfully reestablished its commitment towards bringing together all the stakeholders in setting the br foundations for the future of Sustainable mobility in India. With the breakthrough innovations and technological advancements in mobility sector expected to witness steady rise in coming years, the Bharat Mobility Global expo shall serve as crucial platform to showcase, connect, collaborate, and explore the future of mobility for both India and global audience.
